University of Warwick, Gibbet Hill Campus Map

Gibbet Hill Campus is one of the two main campuses that make up the University of Warwick, situated in Coventry in the West Midlands. Despite the university’s name, the campus sits close to the boundary between Coventry and Warwickshire, in the south of the city. It lies adjacent to the larger main campus and is well connected by the university’s internal bus and footpath network, making movement between the two straightforward for students and staff.

What the Campus Contains

Gibbet Hill Campus is principally associated with the university’s science and life sciences faculties, housing research institutes and academic departments focused on biological and medical sciences. The campus has a more contained feel compared to the sprawling main site, with facilities concentrated around its research buildings. Green space surrounds much of the area, giving it a quieter character.

Getting There

The University of Warwick as a whole is accessible from Coventry city centre by regular bus services, and Gibbet Hill Campus can be reached via the internal campus roads. The nearby A46 and surrounding road network connect the university to Coventry, Kenilworth, and the wider region. Coventry railway station provides the nearest main rail link for those arriving from further afield.
