Getting Around
The primary bus route through Whitmore Park is the number 13, which runs along Beake Avenue, the suburb’s main thoroughfare. Buses on this route alternate between a direct service into Coventry city centre via Radford Road and a loop through Jubilee Crescent, giving residents straightforward access to the shops there. The route was formerly known as the Whitmore Park route before its northern extension to the Prologis Business Park.
Local Shops and Schools
A small parade of shops curves around from Glentworth Avenue to Beake Avenue, covering everyday needs with a fish and chip shop, a newsagents, hairdressers, a chemist, an off-licence, and food outlets. The site of a former petrol station at the end of the parade continues to operate as a car repair works and car wash.
